Light is one of the most important factors in plant growth. Previously, the LED light source used for plant production was mainly composed of visible light in red (600nm-700nm) and blue (400nm-500nm) bands, because the quantum conversion efficiency of photosynthesis was the highest in this band. However, so far, there are few reports on the regulation mechanism of medium and long wavelength UV-A and UV-B UV supplementary light on the nutritional quality of vegetable, especially the antioxidants, and there is A lack of effective UV environmental management and regulation technology. The potential of UV-LED applications in plant lighting has yet to be developed.
